The avalanche danger may reach CONSIDERABLE later today with additional snow and strong wind. In general, there is a LOW to MODERATE danger this morning. However, the wind may form deep drifts of snow that will most likely be sensitive as they're forming. Upper elevation north facing slopes are the most dangerous because there is some old weak sugary faceted snow near the ground from earlier this season could fail with wind drifted snow loaded on top of it.

Weather and Snow
The Skyline picked up 7 to 13 inches of snow in the last 24 hours. Once again, the northern Skyline didn't fair as well as the central and southern end.
  • Fairview Canyon: 7"
  • Ephraim Canyon: 9"
  • 12 Mile Canyon: 13"
  • Ferron Canyon: 13"
The wind has been moderate in speed from the south southeast. Temperatures were mild overnight hovering in the upper 20s. They've dropped down to the mid 20s this morning.

Anticipate more snow today with an additional 5 to 10 inches. The wind is going to start to shift directions as the day progresses. It will start coming around from the southwest, then west and eventually northwest. I looks like it's going to get pretty strong once it shifts direction. The storm will start to move out on Saturday.
