Quiet weather leads to quiet avalanche conditions. The avalanche danger is generally LOW. Keep in mind that LOW danger doesn't mean NO danger and it's possible a person could find a recently formed wind drift that could crack out on the steepest slopes along the ridgelines on the east half of the compass.

Weather and Snow
It was cold overnight with mountain temperatures in the low teens. The wind speed has been generally light over the last few days. We have a couple of nice days ahead of us. Today ridgetop high temperatures will be in the mid 20s and will be a bit warmer Friday with mostly sunny skies. There will be a few more clouds on Saturday but it still looks like a nice day. The next storm moves in on Sunday but it looks like we'll see the most snow Sunday night into Monday. The storm looks decent and as of this morning I'm expecting around 8 inches of new snow.
