The avalanche danger is MODERATE today in areas with recent deposits of wind drifted snow. The recently formed drifts will get more stubborn as time goes on but they still may be sensitive today along the higher ridgelines on the east half of the compass. Slopes pushing 40 degrees are the most suspect.
