Avalanche danger on the rise today! The avalanche danger is CONSIDERABLE and human triggered avalanches involving new and wind drifted snow will become increasingly more likely as the day progresses. The danger also exists for triggering deeper and more dangerous avalanches on a buried persistent weak layer on steep, wind drifted slopes that face the north half of the compass. Avoid steep slopes with recent deposits of wind drfited snow, and be alert to signs of increasing danger such as blowing, drifting, and accumulating snow.
