Slab avalanche. Looked like mostly new snow from the recent storm. Did not break to the ground. This ridge does carry wind load. But it appeared that the cornice did not break and the avalanche started below the cornice. There were two slides in close vicinity, the one to the north was much larger in length across the top but both slides were fairly minor in snow depth or slide distance.
