  • Slide Canyon- ran in morning before 8 am
  • Lost Creek-ran overnight, larger than in January cycle
  • Similar time frame-reports of numerous soft slab new snow avalanches failing 1'-3' deep up to 400' wide in Salt Lake, Ogden, and Provo area mountains (triggers were natural, human, and explosive)
  • Northwest-easterly slopes more active with wind loading
