Comments
A widespread natural wet-loose avalanche cycle in Upper Little Cottonwood Canyon starting around 1:00 PM on southwest-west-northwest-north facing aspects up to 10,000'. These avalanches all started as wet loose avalanches. They entrained more snow and had decent debris piles where they stopped. Depth was 4"-8" and they were running on the dust layer prior to the last storm. These avalanches were noted on Microwave, the Castle, Red Pine Chute, and other north and northwest facing terrain throughout the canyon from 8,000-10,000'
