        Went up to check out Nebo today with some friends. Just before we got onto the apron there was graupel pouring out of the uphill side of the skintracks and the corners of the skinner were collapsing, could see visions of crown from afar. When we got up into the drainage it was apparent that multiple large wind slab avalanches ( D1.5- D2) had failed on graupel pools under all of the cliffs/shots. We did not tempt fate and go any further. Many, Many crowns, on all sub aspects of the NW drainage, and a whole lot of hangfire lurking.. 
Seems as though Graupel is the new normal in the Wasatch! Big slides and a lot of debris that ran far into the apron, it looked as though some of the slides started higher up into the couloirs too but didn't go up to confirm. Measurements are estimates. 
Had a nice time at Denny's in spanish fork with some friends new and old. Thanks Bessie for a lovely meal, I'd have to say the chicken fried steak was an excellent alternative to burial.
