Comments
Intentional cornice drop on the ridge triggered a sluff of the new snow that ran nearly full track to the flats. This was not a surprise, given the poor bonding to the bed surface, evidence of natural sluffing on steeper, adjacent slopes and the avalanche advisory for the day.
