Comments
Witnessed multiple small scale avalanches remotely triggering off the sides of the trail. These slides were breaking all the way to the soil and fast moving. We did do a couple ECT test and found the new snow fracturing and sliding off the old layers in the test easily. However there was a massive ice layer over a couple layers of facets during the ECT, we couldn't really get the ice layer to break and separate causing a full depth fracture. This unfortunately gives a false sense of stabilizing from the test but the remote triggers paint another picture. This was on North and Northeast aspects. The Nebo area recieved roughly 20-24" of new snow through the recent storm at the upper elevations. Stay off of our ot from underneath slopes at 30° or greater.
