      Comments
Wet activity on the west side of Mount Ogden this afternoon. This particular avalanche is a prominent track visible from town, so I thought that might be noteworthy enough to include. Originated by rocks near Strongs Peak, starting at roughly 8300ft and running what appears to be 400-500ft of vertical based on the map. Started on a SW aspect somewhere between 35 and 40 degrees based on low resolution slope angle mapping. Couldn't see any tracks, so assuming natural trigger, likely in the new snow given the sun and warm up this afternoon.
A few other small wet slides were visible nearby, occupying the south to west quadrant of the compass.
No picture as the distance made it too grainy for my phone photography skills.
