Skiing down Alpine Loop road above Aspen Grove around 3pm I spotted avalanche debris that came off Elk Point that wasn't there when I went up. It ran down into the Primrose Cirque drainage. Lots of small slides in the area on slopes steeper than ~30 degrees, many started under solar heated cliff bands.
I spotted a few small slides in Primrose Cirque, nothing big, but it was overcast and visibility wasn't great. While I was taking photos of the Elk Point slide the wind came up and blew snow off the peak and I was treated to 3-4 "snow falls" pouring off the cliff bands.
