Comments
Another warm day in American Fork Canyon and Mary Ellen Gulch. Cloud cover became SCT by 12pm and wind was light from the West. Significant warming this weekend has led to multiple wet slides across the range. We stood and watched multiple wet slides come down on East and Southeast facing slopes just after 1pm. They would start as point releases around rock features and entrain the top 10-15cm of new snow. Debris was very slow moving but would pile up 5-6 feet deep as the they came to rest.
