Route Description
White Pine Trailhead to White Pine Lake: Stunning tour through and under multiple avalanche paths, including Scotty’s Bowl, the Birthday Chutes and the Tri-Chutes. Park 5.2 miles beyond electronic signage at the mouth of LCC and look for the White Pine lot on your right. Cross the creek at the bridge and follow the summer trail 4 miles, gaining 2400’ into the upper reaches of White Pine to the lake. Not recommended for large parties. Dogs are not allowed in the watershed of LCC.
