Weather Comments
Cold and foggy in Evanston this morning, but in the mountains it was clear and mild. It does not have the feel of late November and winter is slow to get going. The sun felt nice and there was little to no wind today.

Red Flags Comments
The current snow pack where it does exist is a mix of old weak early season snow with some crusts that does give it some structure and a liitle supportability. There is not much snow that is connected at this elevation around Bald Mt.
Comments

Pretty thin snow cover around Bald Mt. with not much of the snow connected. There are some drifted areas where the snow is deeper and I did hear some professional snow observers experiencing collapsing in the area. Sounds like we may have to wait till later in the week for the next decent storm.
