We noticed a large cornice fall facing NE near 8500', skiers left before the apron. Our hypothesis is that it happened in the last 1-2 days with the rapid warming.
We also observed large avalanche debris, about 5' tall, above this point (no picture taken). Likely wet loose from the same time period.
