Problem #1 Comments
The snow pack is hanging in there, but looks like things change quite rapidly with a big jump in temperatures the next couple days.
Comments
Pretty quiet these days around the trailhead and access is starting to open up as the snow pack melts.
Still able to find some respectable quasi dry snow on the north side of the compass. There was plenty of stout crusts early in the day, but nice smooth spring snow with the day time heating on the sunny slopes. The travel conditions held up all day in the upper elevations with thin snow and dirt showing up on the return trip back to lower elevations.
