Submitted from public. Isolated wind-loaded areas were observed along the ridge and skin track just below the summit of Mount Baldy at Alta yesterday. These zones were highly reactive, with two small avalanches triggered, each sliding only 1-2 feet downhill. The fractures extended about 12-18 inches deep, reaching down to the rocks.
