Comments
I snowshoed to the beaver ponds on Broads Thursday. Once to the ponds I could see a number of avalanches stretching at intervals from Bonkers to the Diving Board and up to and above Blue Ice. There was also some wind moving snow off of Broads Twins. I did hear a couple of very audible collapses in the area well. I snowshoe in this area fairly often and was surprised and yet impressed to only see one or two skin tracks on the trail up. Further, I encountered three moose just above the bridge on my way up-trail. Be aware if planning on skinning up. The snow overall was superb especially closer to the ponds.
