Comments
Saw this avalanche today on Scott's Peak, must have been triggered either Monday or Tuesday because I was in the area late Sunday and it wasn't there. There where tracks going in and coming out. From the looks of it, it was triggered about a fourth of the ways down the slope and quite a ways above the entry tracks the exit tracks were about 40ft down. Looking at the crown from a distance and the obvious wind loading on slope it appeared to run on the PWL at the bottom of the pack. It ran full track through a bunch of pine trees and took out a few on the way down.
