Hut based Level 1. January 3rd-5th,This yurt based 3 day 2 night avalanche course is designed to maximize your time in the field. This AIARE 1 will utilize snowmobiles to access the yurt and terrain to skin, ski, and ride. Includes meals and yurt accommodations.
Hut Based AIARE 1: Fully immerse yourself in your backcountry education. This yurt based 3 day 2 night avalanche course is designed to maximize your time in the field. Based in the western Uintas, The Castle Peak Yurt is situated at 9600' and is our gateway and basecamp to an untouched and remote classroom. Breakfast and Dinner is included as is a snowmobile \"bump\" into the yurt and when appropriate during the course.
