Comments
This remotely triggered slide breaking 2' deep and about 300' wide was initiated from about 40' away while a rider descended a low angle, 30 degree, north facing slope. This a go-to safe slope in Weber Canyon and the riders were doing everything right. However, a remotely triggered avalanche speaks to the tricky nature of our snowpack setup.
