The avalanche danger starts out generally LOW today but may rise to MODERATE with daytime heating.
The avalanche danger may increase if the snow becomes overly wet and sloppy. If you find yourself in deep wet snow, definitely avoid being on or below steep slopes. become unstable. It's possible we could see natural slab avalanches break into old weak snow near the ground by this weekend. This will be more likely if we do not see solid re-freezes overnight.

Weather and Snow
Current Conditions: Overnight temperatures were fairly warm hovering around freezing in many locations. Personally, I do not find the riding conditions to be all that great right now. Some folks like wet springtime snow conditions and that's definitely what we have right now.
Mountain Weather: We have four days of very mild temperatures ahead of us with highs into the 50s. Overnight lows may not dip below freezing.
