Comments
While traveling on the FR-083 summer road, we came across this natural avalanche at 10100' on an E facing slope that ran across the road yesterday (2/6/21). Debris most likely piled up to 2' deep on the road, though a snowcat had groomed the trail before we arrived. No signs of tracks on the slope, and a quick transceiver check resulted in no signals found.
