The avalanche danger continues to be generally LOW today. Watch for minor fresh drifts that may form during the day today. I doubt these will actually pose much threat as they probably won't get large enough during the daylight hours.

Weather and Snow
Current Conditions: An inch or so of new snow accumulated this morning. Temperatures are in the mid 20s and the wind is light from the south.
Mountain Weather: The weather looks unsettled through the end of the week with numerous chances for snowfall. We should see snow start to fall during the day today especially this afternoon. Another period of snow should occur Thursday night into Friday. I'm anticipating about 6 to 10 inches of new snow by Saturday. High temperatures will be in the upper 20s over the next few days and a little warmer on the weekend. The wind looks like it will remain light to moderate in speed mainly from the southwest. This is yet another "closed low" pressure storm system which is complex and I would not doubt to see things shake out differently than expected.
