Weather and Snow
Current Conditions: A number of people got into the mountains on Tuesday and reported new snow amounts from Monday anywhere from 6 to 20 inches. To me, it seems like 8 inches is about average across the range. Wind formed some drifts during the storm and there was a little snow getting transported on Tuesday. There was a small amount of cracking but most people thought the new drifts were staying in place. Temperatures stayed in the low single digits and dropped below zero overnight. Check out this BACKCOUNTRY OBSERVATION from Pleasant Creek which seemed favored from the recent storm.
