The new snow won't change avalanche conditions a whole lot. In general, the avalanche danger remains LOW across the majority of the terrain. There is a MODERATE danger along the higher ridgelines where a person might find a fresh wind drift that could crack out.

Weather and Snow
Gotta love a white Christmas!! The Skyline picked up 6 inches of new snow overnight. This was desperately needed as the old snow surface was quite haggard and that's being polite. Temperatures are in the mid 20s and southwest wind has been light to moderate in speed.

We should see a few more inches trickle in today and tonight. If we're lucky we might see another 6 inches but I'm a little skeptical.
