Same story, different day. The avalanche danger is MODERATE. Small human triggered avalanches are possible. As time goes on, triggering an avalanche becomes more unlikely until we get some serious snow.
Keep in mind that the snowpack is extremely weak and will not do well if we start adding snow on top of it. Things are bound to get dangerous again.

Weather and Snow
Current Conditions: Northwest wind is still consistently breezy along the higher terrain. Overnight temperatures were around 20˚F. Riding conditions are generally not all that great unless you really seek out sheltered terrain.
Mountain Weather: Today will be mostly cloudy with high temperatures in the low 20s and moderate speed northwest wind. A storm sliding past us to our west and drifting south might bring some very light snowfall tonight. Wind will shift to the east and increase in speed. Weather models continue to hint at a wetter pattern starting late this week. We'll see if this trend continues to look good in a few days.
