Forecast for the Abajos Area Mountains

Wednesday morning, February 12, 2025
The Abajo Range picked up 2-3 inches of new snow overnight. There is still not enough snow for winter recreation. On Thursday, deep atmospheric river moisture moves over the California coast and the western Great Basin. Skies will become increasingly cloudy, and southwest winds may gust up to 40 MPH. Snowfall will begin Thursday night. The storm track looks to favor the Abajos. We could see our first significant snowfall Thursday night and Friday, stay tuned for details.
