The avalanche danger is MODERATE at upper elevations where shallow but possibly sensitive new drifts will be forming along the leeward sides of upper elevation ridge crests and terrain features. Most other terrain offers generally LOW danger. Always carry appropriate rescue gear practice safe travel techniques by only putting one person on a slope at a time.
