The Utah Avalanche Center's mission is to keep people on Top of the Greatest Snow on Earth® by providing avalanche forecasting, education, and awareness throughout Utah. We fulfill this mission as a partnership effort between the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest and the nonprofit Utah Avalanche Center. Two-thirds of the total program funding is raised through the nonprofit from personal and business donations, grants, and fundraising events.
