Around 3:30 to 4pm, just before cresting the wind blown ridge i felt the shift and away we went. It carried myself and my bike quickly down. We encountered several 6" and younger trees while now tumbling down breaking many of them. I managed to climb out of the flow bu clinging to tree branches now 150' below the break. The break was 2-3 ft deep and around 250 ft wide. I hesitated to deploy my avi bag due to trees I was encountering, that and my pull handle was difficult to locate while being tumbled like a clothes dryer. My riding partner arrived within one minute of the slide, we both use beacons.
