Comments
This is a slope I often intentionaly slide although the last few years it has been resistant to failure. I intentionally triggered this from the high point in the picture. The plan was to keep my speed and ski out in-front of a manageable slide however the staunch wall was down slope farther than anticipated about 60-70 feet. I kicked out right with no trouble reaching the flank. It was a larger than normal soft slab slide for the slope so I had to maintain my exit angle longer than is typical.
