Every east or south east facing gully above 9000’ on the ridge we climbed had propagated since the last major storm cycle. We made it to 10,050’ and never saw where they propagated due to limited visibility. These were large slides that snapped 6” trees and went 20’ up the gully sides.
Ice crust started at 8400’ and continued up until 10,050’. Snow was generally stable in the trees.
