Comments

I remotely triggered this slide from about 50' away as I was descending the slope. In the back of my mind I was thinking what if this slope slides, so I used the edge of the dense trees as my escape. The first two turns were on supportable snow after which the snow conditions changed to punchy and not as supportable where the slab was thinner. A couple more turns and out the corner of my eye, I was neck and neck with the moving debris. A quick turn into the trees and the slide lost slope angle, but the debris pile was rather deep.
