Advisory: Skyline Area Mountains Issued by Brett Kobernik for Tuesday - January 23, 2018 - 6:40am
bottom line

The avalanche danger is MODERATE today. The danger is greater on the steep upper elevation northwest through east facing slopes due to buried faceted snow near the ground. Human triggered avalanches are possible today. I continue to avoid some of my favorite steep slopes because of the buried weak snow near the ground.

current conditions

I got a pretty good look around on Tuesday with better visibility than on Monday. Recent wind has not transported much snow in the higher terrain. There was very little cornice formation in the usual areas. Good riding conditions still exist on most aspects even in the higher terrain.
recent activity

Without much wind transported snow and the very low density snow only containing around .7" h2o, there wasn't much avalanche activity during the last storm.
