current conditions Temperatures on Sunday didn't get overly warm with highs only in the low 30s in the higher terrain. The few inches of dense snow that fell on Saturday provided excellent riding conditions. The new snow did become damp on all but the highest due north facing terrain and will have a crust this morning. |

recent activity There was no wet snow avalanche activity on Sunday. I've been noticing numerous glide cracks scattered around the Manti Skyline. Many of these opened up during the warm spell earlier in the month. A few of them have released as an avalanche. It's best to avoid being below these cracks as it's hard to tell when they might release. |

weather We'll see mostly cloudy skies today with periods of snow after noon. High temperatures will be around freezing and wind will remain fairly light from the south. The majority of the snow should stack up later this afternoon and this evening. I'm expecting 6 to 10 inches of new snow by Tuesday. |
