bottom line

The overall avalanche danger is MODERATE. Watch the recently formed drifts along the highest ridgelines. Also, there may be some natural loose wet snow activity in the low and mid elevations especially on the more sunny slopes as the day progresses.

On Wednesday, I found the newest snow to be very dense. Warm temperatures made things feel very much like a spring day with lower and mid elevation snow becoming damp. I did not see any recent avalanches nor did I experience any cracking of the newer snow. The wind was still blowing but not much transport was happening due to the very dense snow.
