Advisory: Skyline Area Mountains | Issued by Brett Kobernik for Sunday - March 27, 2016 - 6:49am |

current conditions Under clear skies, temperatures along the high country are about 20 degrees and the west wind is fairly light. Reports from the backcountry on Saturday were of mostly stable snow although one rider did note that the newest snow was slightly loose. This minor instability should have settled out overnight. Riding conditions remain pretty good on most aspects although anticipate the sunny slopes to have a sun crust this morning. |

weather It's going to be a nice day in the mountains with temperatures along the ridges in the low 40s. The wind should shift around to a more southerly direction and increase in speed a bit. A fairly large storm will move through starting on Monday and lingering through Wednesday. It is still a bit difficult to pinpoint how much snow we'll end up with but I'm thinking around a foot perhaps by Wednesday. More is possible and if that happens, anticipate a rising avalanche danger. |
