current conditions We have very light snowfall this morning. Temperatures remain fairly cold with most stations right around 10 degrees. Wind speeds have been calm to light. A few more inches of snow fell late Friday and into Friday night. Overall, we are up to 6 or 8 inches of new snow out of this slow moving storm. |

recent activity I did not observe any avalanche activity when I was out in the mountains on Friday. No avalanche activity was reported. Here are some details from my fieldwork on Friday.

weather We should see clouds and light snowfall at times today. Not much accumulation is anticipated. Temperatures will reach the upper teens during the day. Winds are supposed to stay fairly light. This very slow moving storm will produce clouds and the chance for a few more inches of snow on Sunday. We'll see high pressure during the week with another storm shaping up for next weekend. |
